They're gonna love my bumper stickers

Sweet Jesus. Your leftist pinko nutcase blogger is moving to Northern Idaho.

No, we couldn't find temporary housing that didn't suck on the Washington side. So we'll have a rental house till June in Coeur d'Alene. This house had better sell soon, because I don't think they let people like me live up there.

But on second thought, there are some very cool people who hailed from Idaho. Frank Church. Ezra Pound. And Lewis!

In other news, I think I left my USB cable for my camera in Montana. Which means no pictures of the Spokane/Coeur d'Alene area until I get it back or buy a new one.

I think you'll find CDA pretty cool. More expensive that hell, but cool. But don't venture too far outside of town. YIKES! We've done dinner at some nifty Italian place there in town...plus we stayed at an old red brick schoolhouse just a block or two from the CDA Resort....that were both good times.

Good luck in Idaho -- my home state. My husband grew up in Coeur d'Alene but then he's older than dirt and the place has changed a lot! Hope that it soon feels like home to you.

Hi, nonizamboni, and thanks for coming by! I love it up there, but I think the politics will be something of a culture shock after living in Portland for three years. But I'm looking forward to new adventures.

Lewis, you're right about CDA being more expensive than Spokane. Weirdly, it was cheaper to rent in CDA, but when we buy, we'll get more for the money on the Washington side, I think. Too many rich folks on Lake CDA driving up values. :)
