To all you people living in places where flowers and plants are actually growing: Pllllbttth!
I say that with the greatest of affection and respect. And envy.

What? You don't have crocus, daffodils, forsythia, flowering cherry trees yet? You shouldn't have left us out here in god's country.
We have the barest stubs of crocus greenery. But then again, it'll be summer here by May, but not till July in God's country. :)
Heh.
I had some friends over this weekend commenting on how green my lawn was....
You warm weather people are unbearable, I tell ya.
I'm fighting the urge to mow my lawn for the first time this season... I needs it badly, but I'm fighting it!!
No Flowers here. Maybe some black frozen ice with bits of cigarette butts and garbage(what's left of snow)on the sidewalks. I did see a big heep of deer though! there is this park by my work and sometimes I go there for lunch to veg. And all these deer just fly by, jumping the fence and crossing over into like this forest preserve.

Toots, you have got to get out of Chicago.
I saw three yellow crocuses today. Squee!
That's one cute otter.
Oh, and I harvested a fresh head of Bibb lettuce yesterday. Nyah!
I'll have to be on the lookout for taunt-able moments in our weather, because I have to revenge myself on you obnoxious warm weather people.
It's clearly time to get my organic citrus farm.
Bibb lettuce? Yum.
